Our Process - How We Work

We believe you get the greatest customer value by blending your employees with experience from elsewhere. Our process is designed to achieve that blend. We always bring our curiosity, humility and integrity into every project, and meet you on your terms, so that what we deliver can live on in your organization.


The process is the same whether we're starting a turnaround, replacing systems or fixing the culture.

  • Understanding. Lifelong learning is our value that forms the foundation for the understanding phase. Our first ROI, the foundation for your success.
  • Refinement. We want to be humble towards the task and the customer. That means refinement and anchoring through multiple iterations.
  • Improvement. We won't just deliver on a plan, we will improve the situation. We promise.

Understanding

Before we meet, we've done quite a bit of research on your company, industry and management. We've familiarized ourselves with some of your terminology, some of your competitors and some of your suppliers. That's why we have well-prepared questions so you don't have to provide adult education. We're here to help you, not the other way around.

Then we humbly delve into the matter. We talk to employees, dig into the numbers and familiarize ourselves with the systems. We review documentation, contracts and processes. We look for opportunities for improvement. Not to find faults, but to understand where we can create the most value.

Refinement

When everyone understands the goal, the business and the story, we start thinking about the future. Through workshops, design sprints and creative sessions, we shape a plan together. We take time to merge what's important to you and your customers, with our competence and abilities into a plan to give you the highest possible return on investment made.

The plan often contains both a strategy and a list of projects and tasks that must be completed. We supplement the plan with who can and should perform the tasks, how much you should budget and how long it will take.

When the plan feels finished, we start to validate, anchor and refine it. We want to bring your employees, management and customers along on the journey. We want to bring partners and suppliers along. We want to bring your colleagues and stakeholders along. We want everyone to contribute to making the plan as good as possible. It's this refinement that ensures the plan is anchored throughout the organization.

Now we have a strategy, a goal and a plan. Now begins the art of the possible, doing it and reaping the rewards. We have extensive experience with implementation and benefit realization at all levels and know well how easy it is to stumble on details and formalities.

We allocate resources to tasks and projects. We can implement some, outsource others and enable your employees to implement the rest.
